The cloud formation known as a cloud street is when cumulus clouds form lines parallel to the direction of the wind. When these clouds hit the top of a mountain a secondary formation called a von Korman vortex can form. By susing stacked columns of double yarn overs and cinched stitches I have tried to evoke these two different phenomenon.
Instructions are in chart form only and it is easy to either expand or reduce the size by working more (or fewer) repeats.
If you would like to see this shawl in action it is included in a pattern review video of the entire Cloud eBook on my YouTube channel. Click here to view!
