I am putting the finishing touches on something new and wanted to put up a wee teaser. Just a little taste …
While I considered keeping it totally under wraps I figured I can reveal a little bit. I can totally tell you the name because really – it tells you nothing. Actually, I will hide it a little bit.
And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
I am sure some of you will recognize this stanza from a quite famous poem and I am pretty sure that the new pattern will be familiar as well. Not that it looks the same as anything I have released, but I think it has the same feel as some of my other pieces. Apparently I have a style, who knew?
And this yarn? Don’t get me started! I picked it up on my trip to SAFF and just could not wait to use it. The color is Stormy Marsh from The Copper Corgi and I am so very pleased with how it knitted up. The gray and green play beautifully together and there was no pooling. Yay! I know that I might have a sock/fingering weight yarn problem, but I cannot bring myself to get too worked up about it. There is always room to squoosh another skein into the giant tub-o-yarn, right?
